Szerb sajtóhírek szerint a megbeszélésen egyet nem értés alakult ki, és néhányan arra szólítottak fel, hogy Szerbia utasítsa el a tárgyalást az Európai Unióval.

Vucsics erre reagálva azt mondta, ha valaki úgy gondolja, hogy jobban vezetné az országot, ő kész lemondani. Hozzátette: ha a nép úgy gondolja, hogy vissza kell utasítani a megállapodást, és gazdaságilag tönkre kell tenni az országot, ő átengedi az ország irányítását az „okosabbaknak”. A szerb elnök ezután ismertette a Nyugat tervét Koszovóval kapcsolatban, majd távozott.

Amennyiben Vucsics kiáll amellett, hogy lemond a párt elnöki tisztségéről, azt hiszem, az a Szerb Haladó Párt végét jelenti a szerbiai politikai színtéren. Azt követően a lehető legrosszabb forgatókönyv vár Szerbiára, amibe bele sem merek gondolni

– idézi a Szabad Magyar Szó Glisics nyilatkozatát, amit a Pink Televíziónak adott.

Koszovói rendőrök szerbekre lőttek

A Magyar Szó nem hivatalos értesülései szerint újabb incidens történt Koszovóban, miután Leposavicnál állítólag a koszovói rendőrök két szerb állampolgárra rálőttek, akik megsebesültek. Az eset akkor történhetett, amikor a két szerb nemzetiségű személy nem volt hajlandó megállni a koszovói rendőrök felszólítására.

Később a RIA Novosztyi orosz állami hírügynökség arról írt, hogy Petar Petkovic, a szerb kormány alá tartozó koszovói és metóhijai iroda igazgatója megerősítette a hírt.

Ma délelőtt fél tizenkettő körül a koszovói rendőrök a Bistrica hídon, a Kosovska Mitrovica-Leposavic autópálya illegális útzárának közelében lőttek egy autóra, amelyben két szerb utazott

– idézi az orosz lap Petkovicot, aki szerint csak az egyik férfi sérült meg, valamint az autó komoly károsodást szenvedett. Elmondása szerint a sebesült férfit a szerbiai Kraljevo városi kórházba vitték. A golyó a mellkasa bal oldalát találta el.
